Leanne Foster

Leanne Foster currently serves as Principal at University of Toronto Schools since August 2023. Prior to this role, Leanne held the position of Head of School at Trafalgar Castle School from July 2015 to July 2023, overseeing an all-girls independent day and boarding school in Whitby, Ontario. Previous experiences include Vice Principal of Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum and Director of the LINCWell Centre at St. Clement's School, as well as Learning Strategies Coordinator at Branksome Hall School. Leanne has also worked as a Special Education Consultant and Teacher with the Toronto District School Board, and as a Research Associate at Aporia Consulting. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Education from the University of Toronto and a Master of Education in Sociology and Equity Studies from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education.
