Michael McClendon

Michael McClendon currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation since April 2024. Prior to this role, McClendon was the Vice President of Health Services at Purpose and Performance Group from September 2023 to April 2024. McClendon held multiple positions at The University of Tulsa over a span of twelve years, including Dean of Students, Interim Dean of Students, Executive Director of Health and Wellness, and Director of Counseling and Psychological Services. Additionally, McClendon hosted "The Psychology of Everything," a podcast that explores psychological concepts in accessible language, from October 2015 to January 2018, and operated a private practice as a sole practitioner during the same period. McClendon completed a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology from 2007 to 2011, following a Master’s degree in the same field at the same institution from 2005 to 2007. Prior experience includes serving as a predoctoral intern at Illinois State University in 2010-2011.
