Stefano Papa

Stefano Papa has an extensive academic and professional background in human anatomy and cytometry, currently serving as a Full Professor and Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Urbino since April 1986. Previous experience includes the role of Treasurer for the European Society for Clinical Cell Analysis from 2013 to 2015, overseeing the financial management of the scientific society and maintaining relationships with industry. Earlier in their career, Stefano Papa worked as a researcher at the CNR from 1980 to 1984, focusing on cell biology and flow cytometry. Educational qualifications include a Graduate degree in Medicine from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, obtained from 1974 to 1984, a specialization in Sports Medicine from Università "G. D'Annunzio" Chieti, and a specialization in Biomedical Technologies from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 1984 to 1987.
