Perry Hacker

Perry Hacker, CMP, M.Ed. has extensive experience in hospitality and event management, currently serving as the Director of Guest House & Conference Services at the University of Utah since October 1999. In this role, Perry provides leadership for a 206-room hotel and a comprehensive conference center, emphasizing guest and employee loyalty alongside financial success. As the Owner of Rocky Mountain Race Management/Aloha Race Management since October 2022, Perry manages large-scale triathlon events, including the Lavaman Triathlon, and oversees a substantial volunteer staff. Additionally, as Owner and Partner of US Trisports Race Management LLC since April 2021, Perry coordinates various local athletic events. Previous positions include Adjunct Faculty at Salt Lake Community College and various management roles at notable ski resorts. Perry holds an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Utah and a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University, complemented by certifications from the Disney Institute in creativity and management.
