Stephen Hess has served as Chief Information Officer for the University of Utah and the Utah System of Higher Education since January 2015, overseeing the strategic direction of campus-wide information systems and operations for various IT departments. With extensive experience at the University of Utah since November 2000, Stephen has also held roles as IT Director and Associate Vice President for Information Technology, directing initiatives such as the Procure to Pay process and leading the University Process Improvement Office. Stephen holds a PhD in Educational Leadership Technology from the University of Utah.
