Abby Bleything

Abby Bleything, TDM-CP, AICP, serves as the Sustainable Transportation Program Manager at the University of Vermont since February 2015, where responsibilities include leading the Active Transportation Plan and managing Transportation Demand Management programs. Prior experience encompasses roles such as Sustainable Transportation Coordinator and Vermont Clean Cities Coordinator, focusing on reducing petroleum use in transportation. Previous positions at AECOM involved managing the Vermont Safe Routes to School Program, where Abby worked to enhance active transportation among students across over 80 schools. Abby's educational background includes a Master of Science in Urban Policy and Planning from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy from Marist College, complemented by a study abroad program in Environmental Science at Universidad de Costa Rica.
