Matt Sayre

Matt Sayre is an accomplished entrepreneur and senior project manager with extensive experience in sustainability and program management. As the founder of Shrubbly, LLC, established in 2019, Matt innovates in the beverage industry by creating lightly sparkling beverages featuring healthful ingredients. At the University of Vermont since 2005, Matt serves as Senior Project and Program Manager, where notable contributions include establishing the University Project Management Office and leading programs in public health and sustainability. Former experience includes founding roles at Earth, Inc. and The Community Energy Exchange, as well as serving as Founding Owner of Healthy Habitat EcoLogical Cleaning & Property Services, LLC. Matt's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Le Moyne College, a Master of Education in Human Relations from Northern Arizona University, and completed coursework towards a Master's degree in Natural Resources and Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont.
