Susan Mason

Susan Mason is a seasoned UX designer and independent design consultant with over two decades of experience in the design field. Currently serving as a Senior UX Designer for Design Systems at the University of Vermont, Susan led the development of Ivy, the university's inaugural design system that enhances brand cohesion and user experience. As an independent consultant under Herstudio, Susan specializes in custom website design, graphic design, and communications strategy. Previous roles include User Experience Designer at Seventh Generation, where Susan developed a product finder application, and Creative Lead at Ross Culbert & Lavery, Inc., driving interactive work that became the firm's primary revenue source. Susan began her career as Digital Art Director at Integrated Media, Inc., where foundational projects included the first-generation website for Miramax Films. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from Boston University College of Communication.
