Susan Swogger

Susan E. Swogger, MLIS, is an experienced library and information science professional currently serving as the Head of Collection Development, Analysis, and Strategy, and the Director of Collection Management and Acquisitions at the University of Vermont since March 2021. Previously, Susan held the position of Missouri Campus Library Branch Manager at A.T. Still University from September 2016 to March 2021, and served as the CGHS/MOSDOH Distance Support Librarian Liaison at the Health Sciences Library of the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill from January 2008 to September 2016. Additional experience includes roles as Collections Development Librarian at Argosy University - Phoenix from 2002 to 2007 and Law Library Assistant for the City of Austin between April 2001 and August 2002. Susan holds a Master of Library & Information Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology/Anthropology from the University of Mary Washington.
