Cynthia Douglass

Cynthia Douglass is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in communications and marketing, currently serving as a Senior Communications & Marketing Specialist at the University of Virginia since March 2018, where efforts focus on transforming HR services and enhancing the employee experience. Prior roles include Director of Communications and Business Development Manager at the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce, and Chief Executive Officer of Celestial Sounds, where significant increases in online sales were achieved. Cynthia also contributed to educational outreach at the Middle East Center at the University of Utah and has held various editorial and managerial positions, showcasing diverse expertise in communication, community engagement, and business development. Cynthia holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Conflict Resolution from American Military University and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Arab Studies from Georgetown University.
