Gwendolyn Slade Bouchie

Gwendolyn Slade Bouchie, MS, currently serves as the Executive Director of Research Strategy and Communications at the University of Virginia and as the Founder and Managing Director of Elevada Creative. With a rich background in communications and strategic initiatives, Gwendolyn held the position of Director of Communications and Strategic Initiatives at the Medical University of South Carolina prior to their current roles. Additional experience includes leadership positions at Darkness to Light, Consumers' Choice Health Plan, and the Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired, where Gwendolyn focused on behavior change communication, marketing strategies, and program development. Gwendolyn earned a Master of Science in Health Communication from the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from the College of Charleston.
