Richard Covington

Richard Covington is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in organizational development and talent management. As the Director of Culture & Talent at Augusta Health since April 2019, Covington leads the strategic direction and implementation of culture and engagement initiatives across the organization. Prior to this role, Covington held various positions at the University of Virginia, including Manager of Performance Management and Team Lead for Talent Management. With a strong background in HR consultancy and organizational development at UVA Health System and Target, Covington also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal in the Combat Engineers. Covington holds a Master of Arts in Management & Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University.
