Stan Gunn

Stan Gunn serves as the Executive Director for Information Technology at the University of Virginia Library since August 2017. With a rich background in technology and education, Stan has held a variety of roles including Portfolio Associate at the University of Texas at Austin and Co-owner/Founder of SBG Design LLC. Past experience includes serving as Vice President of Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Austin Community College, and Senior Project Manager at IBM Global Services. Additionally, Stan held the position of Chief Information Officer at the Texas Youth Commission. Academic credentials include a Master of Library and Information Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Texas at Tyler.
