Daniel Blakey

Daniel Blakey has over 15 years of experience in research strategy, funding, and contracts. Daniel worked at the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2023, holding various roles such as Assistant Director, Head of Research Services in multiple areas, Deputy Head of Research Services, Research Services Manager, Research Funding Manager, and Research Contracts Specialist. Daniel is currently serving as the Associate Director (Head of Research Strategy, Funding & Contracts) at the University of Warwick.

Daniel Blakey has a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick, which they earned between the years 1996 and 1999. Daniel then pursued further education at the University of Oxford, where they obtained an MSc in Neuroscience from 2001 to 2002. Finally, they completed their education at the University of Oxford with a DPhil in Developmental Neuroscience, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005.
