Hilary Hopker

Hilary Hopker is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager (Colleague & Community) at the University of Warwick since November 2022. In this role, Hilary leads a team of five and implements an internal communications strategy designed to support the University’s 2030 strategy by fostering engagement and collaboration within the Warwick community. Prior to this position, Hilary spent 18 years at West Midlands Police as Communications Manager (Campaigns), where the work received recognition for creativity and effectiveness in targeting diverse communities. Hilary also held roles as Press and Public Relations Manager at CV One in Coventry and as a Press and Public Relations Executive at Coventry and Warwickshire Promotions. An educational background from the University of Warwick in History of Art complements extensive professional experience in strategic communications and public relations.
