Julia Peetz

Julia Peetz is currently serving as a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow and Associate Fellow at the University of Warwick, positions held since September 2019 and January 2020 respectively. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Lecturer at Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Visiting Lecturer at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Julia has also edited the Platform: Journal of Theatre and Performing Arts, coordinating peer reviews and contributing to editorial content. Julia completed a PhD in Politics and Performance at the University of Surrey in January 2019, with research focusing on performance and democracy, and is developing this work into a monograph. Prior editorial experience includes a web editor role at TravelBird and editorial positions at The Hat Tree Theatricals and Amsterdam University Press. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's in Political Science and English Philology, a Master's in Cultural Analysis, and a Doctorate in Philosophy.
