Tanya Carey

Tanya Carey is a skilled academic professional with extensive experience in educational management and wildlife conservation. Currently serving as the Teaching and Learning Manager and Safeguarding Lead at the University of Warwick since April 2016, Tanya oversees academic administration for postgraduate programmes and manages various processes related to student supervision and research project approvals. Additionally, Tanya is actively involved in several voluntary organizations, including serving as Treasurer for the Warwickshire Mammal Group and as a committee member for the Warwickshire Badger Group. An experienced educator, Tanya has held roles at Warwickshire College and McTimoney College of Chiropractic, focusing on science and animal manipulation curricula. Tanya holds a Ph.D. in the evolution of human bipedal locomotion from the University of Liverpool and a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from Edinburgh Napier University.
