Victoria Koski-Karell, MD, PhD, currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Lake Washington Rowing Club and is a Resident Doctor at UW Medicine. Victoria completed medical education at the University of Michigan Medical School, earning an MD/PhD in medicine and sociocultural anthropology. Academic experiences include a research fellowship focused on arsenic levels in Haitian rice, graduate student instructorship in critical theory, and various positions involving extensive research and advocacy in global health, particularly in Haiti. Prior roles include Sculling Coach at Ann Arbor Rowing Club, Visiting Researcher with Partners In Health in Haiti, and Research Assistant in clinical studies related to health outcomes among Haitian diabetes patients. Victoria holds a BA from Harvard University in Social Anthropology and Pre-Med, graduating Cum Laude.
