Erik van Eaton

Erik Van Eaton serves as the Chief Innovation Officer at TransformativeMed, focusing on the development of clinical workflow applications that enhance real-time decision-making for patient care. With a background in clinical design strategy, Erik has been instrumental in advancing healthcare applications that leverage Electronic Medical Records (EMR). In addition to the role at TransformativeMed, Erik holds multiple academic positions at the University of Washington, including Associate Professor of Surgery and various adjunct positions within the Division of Biomedical Health Informatics and Medical Education. Erik’s extensive education includes a Doctor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Technical Journalism from Oregon State University.
