Francesca Lo has extensive experience in leadership education and community engagement, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Community Engagement and Leadership Education (CELE) Center and Director of the Husky Leadership Initiative at the University of Washington since 2004. In these roles, Francesca oversees strategic initiatives that have significantly increased student participation in leadership programs, growing engagement from 400 to 3,500 students annually over five years. Prior to this, Francesca held positions such as Associate Director of the Pipeline Project and Coordinator of Leadership Programs at Brown University, where notable accomplishments included directing outdoor leadership training programs and developing K-12 outreach initiatives. Francesca's educational background includes a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Washington, as well as a Master’s in Marine Affairs and a Bachelor’s in Aquatic Biology from Brown University.
