Justin Sanders

Justin Sanders is a CSE PhD student at the University of Washington, focusing on developing large-scale language models to enhance the analysis of high-throughput proteomics datasets under the guidance of Bill Noble. In addition to academic pursuits, Justin serves as the Director of Strategy & Operations for Nucleate, where responsibilities include bridging academic research and venture creation for trainees in Seattle. Previous experience includes a software engineering internship at Salesforce, where Justin created a new feature in CRM Analytics utilizing NLP, and multiple roles at Brown University, including an undergraduate research assistantship investigating deep learning applications in single-cell analysis and various teaching assistant positions. Justin holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science and Biology from Brown University and a High School Diploma from Lakeside School.
