Patricia Louie

Assistant Professor Of Sociology at University of Washington

Patricia Louie currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington since August 2020. Prior to this role, Patricia held positions as a Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto from 2014 to August 2020, where courses taught included Intermediate Data Analysis and Sociology of Mental Health. Additionally, Patricia worked as a Research Assistant at the UBC Department of Sociology from May 2012 to August 2014, contributing to projects on workplace discrimination and AIWA. Earlier in Patricia's career, experience included a Lab Assistant role at the James Hogg Research Centre from June 2006 to August 2009. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sociology and a Master's Degree from the University of Toronto, along with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Honors Sociology from The University of British Columbia.
