R. Benjamin Shapiro

R. Benjamin Shapiro currently serves as an Associate Professor and Associate Director for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (DEIA) at the University of Washington since September 2023. In addition to this role, R. Benjamin Shapiro has been a Machine Learning Researcher at Apple since January 2020. Previously, R. Benjamin Shapiro was an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Boulder from September 2015 to January 2020. R. Benjamin Shapiro earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University from September 2002 to October 2009, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from UC San Diego from September 1998 to June 2002.
