Hitanshi Patel

Hitanshi Patel is currently an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo's School of Accounting and Finance, supporting courses in management accounting, personal financial planning, and personal income tax since September 2023. As a Communications Executive with UWaterloo Women in Finance, Hitanshi works to bridge the gender gap in the finance industry by empowering young female talent. Upcoming experience as a Staff Accountant I at Deloitte is anticipated in early 2024. Previous roles include Operations Associate at the UW Management Consulting Club, Business Development Manager for 180 Degrees Consulting Waterloo, Chief Strategy Officer at Marketyze, Executive Vice President of the Accounting and Finance Student Association, Public Relations Coordinator for Sparkin' STEM, High School Ambassador at CPA Ontario, and Logistics Coordinator for Vite ReVue. Hitanshi is pursuing a Bachelor's of Accounting and Financial Management at the University of Waterloo, set to graduate in April 2027.
