Karen Allen

Karen Allen currently serves as the Deputy Athletics Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Senior Woman Administrator at the University of West Georgia since February 2023. Previously, Karen held positions at Winthrop University as the Assistant AD for Internal Operations and Senior Woman Administrator, where operational efficiency and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives were prioritized. At Texas A&M University-Commerce, Karen was the Senior Associate AD for Business & Administration, overseeing budget and business operations, and previously served as Associate AD for Business & Communications at Shorter University. Early career experiences included roles with the Rome Braves as a Ticket Manager and Game Day Staff. Karen Allen holds an MBA and a BBA in Sports Management from Shorter University.
