Taylor Shields

Taylor Shields is currently the Director of Football Operations at the University of West Georgia, a position held since November 2022, responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach with daily program operations and managing travel logistics for the football team. Previously, Taylor served as the Athletics Events & Facilities Coordinator at the same institution, overseeing the operations of the Coliseum. Experience includes working at the University of Montevallo as Game Day Operations/Assistant Compliance, providing support for the Athletics Compliance Program, and offering academic services to student-athletes. Taylor also held the role of Tournament Director at Bob Jones High School and served as Sport Service Coordinator for the Gulf South Conference. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from The University of West Alabama, obtained between 2015 and 2018.
