Andrea N. Zorbas

Andrea N. Zorbas has extensive experience in research administration and financial management. Currently, Andrea serves as the RSP Awards and Set-Up Manager and Research Manager at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since January 2019. Prior to this, Andrea held various positions at Rice University, including Associate Director of Administration for the Interdisciplinary Research Support Office and Lead Financial Administrator in the Chemistry Department. Additional roles at Rice University included Department Administrator for the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department and Center Administrator for the Center for Multimedia Communication. Andrea began a career at NASA as a contractor for San Jacinto College, focusing on grant writing and coordination for the reduced gravity program. Academically, Andrea earned a Master of Science in Accounting and an MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake, and holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, along with an Associate degree in Liberal Studies from Madison Area Technical College.
