Charee Peters

Charee Peters currently serves as a Research Cyberinfrastructure Facilitator at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with responsibilities that include teaching workshops and data governance, along with over 37 specialized skills. Previously, Charee held the position of Chief Data Officer at the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau, where similar tasks were performed, along with management of an extensive skill set of 48. Additional experience includes a role as Artist and On Wheels Event Manager at Wine & Design Madison, WI, focusing on numerical analysis and Microsoft Excel. Charee was also the Head of Data Science at VEDA Data Solutions, emphasizing data governance and research, and worked as a Data Scientist at STEALTHbits Technologies, applying research and agile project management methodologies. Charee holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics and a Master’s degree in Astronomy, both obtained from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where significant research contributions were made, particularly regarding radio time domain studies through the COSMOS HI Large Extragalactic Survey (CHILES) project.
