Erin McGowan, PhD, currently serves as the Graduate Program Manager and Teaching Faculty III in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since May 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University from September 2019 to June 2023, a Visiting Professor and Adjunct Professor at Worcester State University from August 2017 to May 2019, and Adjunct Faculty at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2018. Additional experience includes a position as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at Boston University School of Medicine, where research focused on circadian rhythm and adult neurogenesis in zebrafish. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Kinesiology from Oregon State University, a Master of Science in Anatomy and Neurobiology from Boston University School of Medicine, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Kinesiology and Biology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
