Frankie Iovinelli

Frankie Iovinelli currently serves as an Optimization Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since September 2024, following a role as a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman from June 2023 to November 2024. Previous experience includes working as an Apprentice Carpenter at Gregg Scott Designs and Construction from November 2020 to March 2024, where responsibilities involved custom woodworking and general contracting. In addition, Frankie held the position of Business Development and Marketing Manager at SmartSource Technical Solutions during June to September 2022, focusing on lead generation and marketing strategy development. Early work experience features a Research Aide role at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in April 2022, contributing to significant research on galaxy morphologies and actively feeding supermassive black holes, alongside serving as Assistant Project Manager and Lead Project Communicator for a project designing a smartphone stylus for orangutans. Frankie is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with education that also includes Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences.
