Harsh Sapra is a Research Scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, leading multiple research projects focused on hybrid physics-machine learning models for battery state and health predictions, as well as optimizing hybrid-electric architectures in unmanned aerial vehicles. Previously, Harsh served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Engine Research Center under Prof. Sage Kokjohn and was a PhD candidate at Delft University of Technology. Additional experience includes a Young Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Applied Energy at Elsevier. Harsh's early career involved a Master Thesis Graduation Internship at Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding, where studies on diesel engine performance were conducted, as well as roles as a Research Staff member at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Design Intern at S.V. Modular Conveyors Pvt. Ltd. Harsh holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Maritime Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
