Karen Lux

Karen Lux has extensive experience in operations and event management within the realm of university recreation and athletics. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Operations at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since May 2009, Karen oversees multiple departments, including Aquatics, Ice Operations, and Audio-Visual services for University Recreation & Wellbeing. Prior roles include Assistant Director of Scheduling & Events and Coordinator of Special Events and Development, where responsibilities encompassed scheduling facilities for diverse programming and managing significant events. Earlier experience at The Ohio State University involved serving as Event Management Assistant for women's sports and handling facility scheduling, amassing over 65,000 reservations. Karen holds a Master of Arts in Sports Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
