Robert Cramer is an accomplished financial and administrative leader with extensive experience in higher education and state government. Currently serving as Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since November 2020, Robert oversees the university’s financial operations. Prior roles include Vice President for Administration at the University of Wisconsin System, where significant restructuring initiatives were implemented, and Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, leading recovery efforts from a significant tornado event. Additional experience includes key roles at the Wisconsin Department of Administration and Arthur Andersen. Robert holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Public Administration and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a Certificate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
