Sanket Deshpande

Sanket Deshpande has extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering, with a focus on nanophotonics, embedded systems, and quantum technologies. Currently serving as a Co-Founder at Dirac Labs since June 2023, Sanket is involved in developing sensing and situational awareness solutions using quantum sensing and AI. Previous roles include research and teaching assistantships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Sanket worked on cold-atom experiments and taught an Electrodynamics course. Additionally, Sanket contributed to Atomionics as an Embedded Systems Engineer, where the design of a compact atom-interferometer was prioritized, and played a vital role as a founding member and COO at Pixxel, focusing on nanosatellite development. Educational background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
