Sarah A. Tracy M.d.

Sarah A. Tracy M.D. serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specifically within the American Family Children’s Hospital since September 2024. Prior professional experience includes a Pediatric General Surgery Fellowship at Riley Children's Health from August 2022 to July 2024, and a residency in general surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center between June 2014 and June 2022. Sarah engaged in pediatric surgery research at Boston Children's Hospital from July 2016 to June 2019 under the mentorship of Dario Fauza MD PhD. Additional roles include volunteering as a Family Mentor with the Worcester Refugee Assistance Project from September 2010 to July 2014, and serving as a medical student at UMass Medical School from August 2010 to June 2014. Educational credentials include an MD from UMass Chan Medical School and a BA in Interdisciplinary (biogeochemistry), premed from Amherst College. Early career involvement includes positions as a research assistant/study coordinator at Children’s Hospital Boston and as the Head Coach for a U16 indoor field hockey team with the Western Nomads Field Hockey Club.
