Carol Edquist has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Carol started their career as a Branch Manager at Southport Bank, where they played a key role in opening a new branch location and managed retail operations. Carol then transitioned to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee as a Business Manager for the Center for International Education, overseeing all business functions and managing a team of employees. After that, they joined the University of Wisconsin-Extension as a Budget Director, where they managed the planning, development, and implementation of the annual operating budget. In their most recent role as the Administrative Director for the Office of Academic & Student Affairs at the University of Wisconsin System, Carol implemented financial goals and managed the annual budget for the VP Office. Throughout their career, Carol has demonstrated strong leadership and financial management skills.
Carol Edquist earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they attended from 1985 to 1990. Carol then pursued further education at the same institution, earning a Master's degree in Urban Planning from 1997 to 2003.
