Charles Saunders

Charles Saunders, CFA has a strong background in investment management and portfolio oversight. Charles currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at the University of Wisconsin System, where they manage a multibillion-dollar endowment and is responsible for the oversight of the 403(b) program. Prior to this role, Charles held the position of Chair of the Investment Committee at Lawrence University for eight years. Charles also has extensive experience as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Principal at NorthRoad Capital Management, where they managed global and international equity portfolios. Before that, Charles worked as an Investment Director for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, where they managed a large international public equity portfolio and led a team of analysts and traders.

Charles Saunders, CFA holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance from Columbia Business School. Charles also pursued Advanced Japanese Language Studies at the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies (IUC). Additionally, Charles earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Government from Lawrence University. Charles is also a certified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) by the CFA Institute.
