Adrian Rast

Adrian Rast is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Leiter IT-Infrastruktur at the Universität Zürich since November 2017. Prior to this role, Adrian held various positions at Swisscom for a decade, including Head of Wireline Operation and Deputy Head of Network Operations, as well as Teamleader IP Broadband Access. Experience also includes a tenure as a Network Engineer IPTV at Alcatel-Lucent and as a Network Engineer and Manager at Swisscom. Earlier in the career, Adrian worked as a Technischer Sachbearbeiter Anwendungstechnik at Reichle & De-Massari AG. Adrian holds an Executive Master of Business Administration FH in Business Engineering from PHW Hochschule Wirtschaft, Zürich, along with multiple Cisco certifications (CCNP and CCNA) and a Dipl. Techniker/HF in Informatik from ABB Technikerschule, Baden.
