Deepak Tanwar

Deepak Tanwar is a Bioinformatics Specialist and Trainer currently working at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and the University of Zurich since 2025 and 2022, respectively. Previously, Deepak served as a Bioinformatics Scientist and Specialist at ETH Zurich from 2018 to 2021, and during an earlier phase, held roles as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at McGill University from 2016 to 2018, as well as a Visiting Research Scientist at The University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2014 to 2016. Deepak's academic background includes a Doctor of Sciences in Neuroscience from ETH Zurich, a Master of Science in Epigenetics and Bioinformatics from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Bioinformatics from Amity University Rajasthan.
