Evgeny Petrov

Evgeny Petrov is currently an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the University of Zurich since November 2023. Previously, Evgeny served as an Assistant Professor of Accounting at HKUST Business School from July 2018 to August 2023 and worked as a Doctoral Research Fellow at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth from September 2017 to June 2018. Evgeny completed a PhD in Finance at EPFL and the Swiss Finance Institute during the years 2011 to 2017, and has held visiting research scholar positions at NYU Stern School of Business and the University of California, Berkeley. Earlier educational experiences include obtaining multiple MS degrees in Economics from various universities and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
