Ruchi Manglunia

Ruchi Manglunia is a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Zurich, focusing on the role of phosphorylation in TDP-43 through cell culture and in vitro protein production. Previously, Ruchi served as a Content Creator for IndiaAsksWhy, and as a Junior Research Fellow at the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, where the emphasis was on preparing samples for NMR spectroscopy to investigate protein dynamics. Additional experience includes a role as a Medical Writer at Spellbound Inc., which involved writing for pharmaceutical websites and blogs, and as an Assistant Lecturer in zoology at Aakash Educational Services Private Limited, where Ruchi contributed to the education of students while reinforcing personal science fundamentals. Ruchi holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Pathology of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis from the University of Zurich, a Master’s degree in Medical Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from Thadomal Shahani Engineering College.
