Srividya Velagapudi

Research Assistant at University of Zurich

Srividya Velagapudi has extensive experience in research and editorial roles within the scientific community. Currently a Research Assistant at the University of Zurich since April 2018, Srividya is involved in developing novel treatment methods targeting Sirtuin-1 for diabetic and atherosclerotic conditions, and has received an Amgen PCSK9 grant to support this research. In addition, Srividya serves as an Assistant Editor at De Gruyter, contributing to the peer-review process and collaborating with prominent scientists to produce relevant content for publishing. Previously, Srividya held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at UniversitätsSpital Zürich, focusing on sphingosine-1-phosphate receptors, and obtained a Ph.D. in Integrative Molecular Medicine from the University of Zurich. With a Master’s in Biology from Université de Fribourg and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Chemistry from Osmania University, Srividya has built a solid foundation in both research and scientific communication.
