Damien Chevaillier

Associate Director, Finance And Administration, Global Programs at URC

Damien Chevaillier has a diverse and extensive work experience. Damien started their career as a Research Intern at Global Village of Beijing in 2009. Damien then worked as a Program Intern at Initiative for Community Action in 2010. In 2011, they joined World Learning as a Program Intern for the International Visitor Exchange Program, and later became a Grants Associate. From 2013 to 2013, they worked as an Operations Analyst at the World Bank Group. Damien then joined University Research Co., LLC (URC) & Center for Human Services (CHS), where they held various roles such as Project Coordinator, Finance Officer, and Regional Finance Manager. In 2018, they became the Finance and Administration Manager for the Livestock Systems Innovation Lab, overseeing a significant USAID-funded project. Damien then joined ACDI/VOCA in 2022 as an Associate Director, where they primarily focused on project financial analysis. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Finance and Administration for Global Programs at URC.

Damien Chevaillier completed their Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs at American University, from 2007 to 2011. Damien then pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a specialization in Financial Management at American University, from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal educational background, Damien also holds certifications in USAID Rules and Regulations from InsideNGO, as well as USAID Subaward Management from Humentum.
