Marni Laverentz

Marni Laverentz serves as the Vice President of Program Implementation for the Africa and Latin America/Caribbean region at URC since February 2008. Responsibilities include leading the strategic vision and successful delivery of projects, ensuring high technical standards, and mentoring portfolio directors while liaising with key stakeholders such as USAID and host country governments. Previous roles at URC included Senior Director of Africa Programs, Technical Director, and Chief of Party for the Systems for Health project, showcasing a strong background in health systems strengthening and program management. Marni's educational credentials include a DrPH in International Health Systems and Safe Motherhood from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science/Health Education from Truman State University.
