Stuart Akanjuna

Stuart Akanjuna is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in the health sector and a solid academic background. Currently serving as a Senior Procurement Officer at University Research Co., LLC (URC) & Center for Human Services (CHS) since June 2022, Stuart leads the procurement team for the USAID URC Uganda Health Activity. Prior experience includes roles as a Procurement Officer at John Snow, Inc. from April 2019 to June 2022, and at URC & CHS on the RHITES-EC Project from March 2017 to April 2019, where focus was on health program implementation. Stuart began a formal career in procurement at Pride Micro-Finance Limited from November 2015 to March 2017. Academically, Stuart holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Uganda Management Institute (2021-2023) and a Bachelor's degree in Procurement and Logistics Management from Kyambogo University (2008-2011).
