- Family Program Coordinator at Early Head Start Program for the University Settlement Society of New York from May 2018 to present. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating parent-child socialization groups, facilitating weekly socialization groups, providing supervision for Family Child Specialists and interns, conducting developmental assessments, and coordinating with program directors and coordinators.

Yunwen Ru holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University, which they obtained from 2023 to 2026. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Development and Social Intervention from New York University, completing the program between 2012 and 2014. In 2007, they received a Master of Science (MS) in Social Psychology from Soochow University. Their undergraduate education was completed at National Taiwan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from 1998 to 2002.
In terms of additional certifications, Yunwen Ru obtained a CLASS Observer Toddler certification from Teachstone in August 2019.
