Leonor Sotillo

SVP, Scripted Strategy at Univision

Leonor Sotillo is currently the SVP of Scripted Strategy at Univision. Leonor has over 13 years of experience in the television industry, having served as the TELEMUNDO NETWORK's SVP of Programming and Content Strategy from December 2005 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for programming, content, and scheduling strategy for US Leonor'spanic networks television and cable TV in LATAM. Leonor also served as the main liaison between the network and the studios and their operations in the US, Mexico, and Colombia.

Sotillo has been instrumental in the re-design and new guidelines on the complete strategy overhaul including PR, marketing, digital media, production, and programming. Leonor has also participated in the creative development of marketing strategies for program launches. In addition, they are responsible for format and program acquisitions, frequently monitoring market and consumer trends.

Sotillo's extensive experience in television makes their uniquely qualified for their current role at Univision. Her ability to merge strategies between different areas of the company ensures that Univision remains a leader in the industry.

Leonor Sotillo has a PG in Storytelling and new narrative transmedia from IEBS, a Master's degree in Organizational Communication, General from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello, and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello.

Leonor Sotillo reports to Jessica Rodriguez, Chief Brand & Impact Officer. Leonor Sotillo works with Ignacio Meyer - EVP, Music & Non-Scripted Entertainment, Nathan Smith - VP, Content Management, and Jorge Domínguez - SVP, Creative Services.
