Abhik Bhattacharyya

Abhik Bhattacharyya has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Abhik began their career as a Welfare Officer at Hindustan Motors LTD in 2000. Abhik then worked as an HR Executive at Calcutta Medical Research Institute before joining The Park Hotels as an Executive HR. In 2006, they became a Senior Executive HR at Tata Teleservices and later served as a Deputy Manager HR at Reliance Communications. In 2008, Abhik joined Airtel and held various roles including HR Business Partner, Lead HR Operations India, and Regional HR Head.

In 2016, Abhik joined Manipal Global Education Services as Head HR Partnering, Operations & TA, where they managed HR shared services and global talent acquisition across India and international locations. Abhik then moved on to become the Head of Human Resources at MeritTrac Services in 2019, where they were responsible for developing and implementing HR plans and solutions.

In 2022, Abhik joined UNext Learning as the Senior Director Human Resources, where their primary responsibility was designing HR initiatives. Abhik is currently working as the Chief Human Resources Officer at UNIVO Education. Throughout their career, Abhik has demonstrated leadership and expertise in HR strategy and execution.

Abhik Bhattacharyya obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from City College from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed their Xth grade at Scottish Church Collegiate School from 1983 to 1991. Later, they pursued a DSW degree in HRM, Labour Welfare, and IR at IISW&BM from 1999 to 2000.
