Mihaela Georgieva has a diverse range of work experience. Mihaela is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Communications Officer at UNL, where they are working on solving challenges in the mapping industry through the development of smart micro-location infrastructure and new generation mapping technology. Mihaela is also a Partner at venturerock, an emerging Web 3.0 early-stage Impact Venture Builder focused on turning future ideas into successful companies.

Prior to their current roles, Mihaela worked at 2SQRS as a Communication Strategy and Storytelling specialist, where they guided and enabled organizations to take advantage of digitalization and create meaningful customer-centric experiences. Mihaela also served as an Innovation Consultant and Storyteller at XL family, where they focused on raising ideas that make a difference and deliver real value.

Before transitioning into the technology and innovation sector, Mihaela worked at Future Ideas as a Communications Specialist and Business Developer, responsible for managing external and internal communications channels, developing and executing communication and marketing strategies, and managing partnerships. Mihaela also co-founded Dorotrade Ltd., where they handled negotiations with Chinese suppliers, logistics, and client communications for the import and export of innovative sport products.

Early in their career, Mihaela worked as a Forwarding Agent at Air Lynx Ltd., gaining experience in logistics and freight forwarding.

Mihaela Georgieva obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Management from the University of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia from 2006 to 2010. Mihaela then pursued further education and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Finance from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia from 2010 to 2012. Following this, Mihaela enrolled at the University of Amsterdam in 2012 and completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation in 2013.
