Xander van der Heijden

Xander van der Heijden has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Xander started their career as the CEO and Founder of Beeyond in 1997, where they led the company until 2005. Xander then worked at Exact Corporate Services B.V., where they held several senior positions, including Senior Product Marketing, Senior Sales Executive, Senior Acquisition Marketing, and Senior Partner Management from 2009 to 2012.

In 2013, van der Heijden joined Zibbra as the Chief Marketing Officer, where they contributed to the development of a cloud platform for small- and mid-sized enterprises. Xander held this role until 2017.

From 2016 to 2018, van der Heijden served as the CEO of 2SQRS, an Amsterdam-based tech and investment company. During their tenure, the company focused on high-potential ventures in emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, extended reality, and the internet of things.

In 2018, van der Heijden took on the role of CEO at UNL, a company that reimagines location technology and addresses hyperlocal challenges through a 3D smart grid. Xander also served as an Advisor at trimix - from seed to series A during the same time period.

In 2020, van der Heijden founded Human Unlimited, and in 2021, they became a Council Member at The Digital Economist, where they work on driving technological convergence and investment opportunities in the new human-centered Digital Economy.

Van der Heijden is currently a General Partner at venturerock, a venture builder and investment firm. Overall, they have a wealth of experience in leadership, marketing, sales, and technology across various sectors.

Xander van der Heijden attended EU Business School from 1993 to 1997 and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Internationale bedrijfskunde.
